ICE!!!

2 posts in 2 days...EXCELLENT!!

This past weekend, we checked out ICE! at the Gaylor Texan. This year's theme, A Charlie Brown Christmas! It was also my friend Laurin's birthday which gave everyone a great excuse to all get together to celebrate her birthday and go to ICE! together! We had a blast running around and taking pics and trying to stay warm in the 7-degree temps. Enjoy!

New Jersey & New York!

For the week of Thanksgiving, my family traveled to New Milford, New Jersey to celebrate the holiday and to see my cousin, Scott, and his now wife, Camille, get married the day before Thanksgiving. After several months of saving up, we all jumped on a plane at 7am Tuesday morning and were on our way to New Jersey...

Here are some of the cousins our first night in Jersey before Pizza night at Nellie's. Best Pizza EVER!!!
The day of the wedding (Wednesday) my family went to White Manna Hamburgers and they are the greasiest things ever, but oh so good!

You will notice I took no pics on Thanksgiving (day after the wedding) because of the amount of "water" I was drinking at the wedding! I think my liver is still shot...

On Friday, we had to go into The City. We did not do a lot of shopping because 1)the guys were with us 2)I had bought a couple new items before we went 3)I would rather take cute pics! So, we explored Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City, and a new lunch must: John's Pizzeria. It was awesome!

Top Two Events of the Week!

This week has been amazing in the world of all things Celebrity! First, my favorite fashionista, Rachel Zoe, officially tweeted that she is preggers! I can't wait for her show on Bravo to come back. This news is going to make it oh so much more fun to watch!!!

Second, Prince William and Kate Middleton are ENGAGED! How dreamy!! A royal wedding will take place in the spring or summer of 2011. Diana and Charles were married in 1981 and I was not around yet to witness that one. I cannot wait for William and Kate's wedding, and more importantly to see what Kate is wearing and how extravagant everything will be! I love a royal wedding and all things fairy tale!

TWWofHP!!

Yes, I got to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter last week at Universal Studios!! My Dad and I had a work conference in Orlando and took a little time to enjoy some fun! I have not read every Harry Potter book, but I thoroughly enjoyed the theme park!!


The Butterbeer was pretty good...kinda sweet, but yummy!

It really was AMAZING!

New Ideas, New Vision!

This past weekend I was at a Halloween party and having a couple cocktails (Don't judge because some of my best ideas come to me when I am drinking a cocktail, as most of you know)....

and the hosts of the party and I were talking all about reality TV, fashion, and more reality TV when the host said that he thought it would be a good idea for me to blog about these outlets rather than my usual day-to-day activities like work, being tired, etc., etc.... BORING!

So, that is exactly what I'm going to do. Let's talk fashion, drama, reality tv, the fabulous life, movies, cocktails, restaurants, lifestyles and DIVAS.

After I hadn't blogged for about 5 months, I knew I needed something to get excited to talk about and blog about. So...I'll test it out and see where it takes us.

Out of Control!!!

Ok....so this no blogging since the summer has gotten way out of control. I plan to revamp my blog and have a new focus within the next week or two! Summer so far...

I can't believe we are almost to July!!! This summer has been sooo much fun so far. Here is a quick update and some highlights of what we've been up to:

Every weekend has been spent at the pool. Lady loves going to the pool as well and her new trick is hopping on the floats while I push her around and then she gets back off!

Nick and I have gone out a couple of nights and this was a great pic from going out to Lemmon Bar in the West Village. Scott Mankoff took the pic and he was awesome taking lots of pics for us that night!!!
Nick and I have also been playing softball with some fellow Berkner grads and here are two of my favorite girls from our team, Laurin (who I went to junior high and high school with) and Kim who is such a joy and a new friend! We are not playing softball in this pic but rather having some cocktails at Fox and Hound!

Our summer has been quite simple as we have gone to the pool every weekend, been playing softball every Friday night (we made it to playoffs and almost beat the 1st place team), and watching some (well maybe a lot) of reality TV!

We are taking out annual trip to Lake Murray in a couple of weeks which I can't wait for!

Finally, last Saturday was Lady's 1st Birthday, so I will leave you with a couple pics of her enjoying her new toys. Back to work and ttys!
