Coming to America!

Thank you Usmagazine.com for this lovely tribute to Will & Kate's trip to Canada and the US of A! So... every morning when I turn on the Today Show at the bright hour of 7am I always listen in to their top 3 stories of the day. I am usually just waking up and only half way tuning in. If one of the top 3 is about Will/Kate/or anything associated with the Royals, then I set that DVR all the way through Kathy Lee and Hoda!

For the next week or so, you know I'll be DVR'ing like seriously everyday, b/c Kate's fashion picks WILL make one of the top 3 stories!

This is beyond thrilling for me! I'm ready for some more Alexander McQueen...and I just know she is going to bring it!

And I'm Back...

I do apologize for my absence for the past 2 months. I took a little bit of a break from blogging for all sorts of reasons and then I kept putting it off and putting it off again....until tonight!!! I've thought about this blog for a while and what I wanted to write about...and honestly nothing came to mind...so I just didn't write. Terrible reason, I know. However, for some reason tonight things just clicked. It's like the writer's block disappeared and all of the sudden the Carrie Bradshaw in me re-appeared. I hope to never take a 2 month break again...b/c I enjoy writing writing just as much as I'm sure most of you enjoy reading my nonsense.

So what have I been up to for the past 2 months...

Well, I have been going, going, going~

Step Class is my new vice. Hot pink lipstick is my new go-to color. I went on a river trip on the Guadalupe that had me laughing the entire trip...start to finish...just ask the girls I was riding with....EPIC! I have made new girlfriends and reunited with old ones that I LOVE! I have continued to handle accident claims. I have played co-ed sand volleyball and remembered how much fun it still is to play, just like the good ole hs days. I love Dirk Nowitzki. Lady Luscious turned 2 and we celebrated. I still have a daily radar for all things Duchess Kate including her fashion, styling, looks...OMG...seriously...she has impeccable taste. RZ premieres in one month...I. CAN'T. WAIT! LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem is my jam right now. I'm going to see Ri Ri in concert soon and can't wait for her to sing "Only Girl in the World". Domination and Magical are 2 of my new fav words thanks to my cuz! Summer Brew is magical! Neons are so in! Adele's album is still top for me! and last but not least, I love pool parties...I hope I can continue to attend and drink pina coladas until I'm 100 years old!

Real Life Princess

I am so excited about tomorrow morning when Kate Middleton will become a real life princess. Every girl's dream! I will be up at 3am watching every channel possible and taking it all in.

I can't wait to see which designer Kate chooses...Oh, the possibilities!

Good Workouts

So, I have good workout days and bad workout days. I'm sure some of you can relate. But my good workout days are always days where I have new tunes on my iPod...I'm serious. I guess the new music has a certain motivation factor because I have not listened to it 1000 times before! I can't listen to "slow" music when I'm working out b/c it's boring and causes me to think about how much longer I have left on the treadmill.

I have also discovered that a new workout outfit leads to a good workout day! Whatever it is that makes me have a good workout, I will most definitely try it because I seriously burn wayyyy more calories when that is the case.

My Thoughts...

On Everything Fabulous of Course!!

Sorry that I have been absent for a little while, but when people have accidents on the road, I get super busy!

I thought I would take a couple minutes and share some of my thoughts with you.

DWTS:

As you all know, I am obsessed with Dancing With the Stars and this season is no different! I am glad that the Love Line guy got kicked off last night. I am sad to say that my girl Wendy Williams is not doing well and I don't see her lasting much longer. I think Hines Ward, Ralph Macchio, and Kirstie Alley are going to make it far. Not too keen on the new "Troupe" that they showcased last night but maybe I'll get used to them. I loved the costumes that Mark Ballas and Chelsea Kane had on and I honestly thought their routine was great. I can't wait for next week's show!

On a sidenote, Chris Brown is annoying; however, when his song "Forever" came on, I thought of the JK Wedding Entrance Dance that those people did for their wedding. That was about the only good thing that it reminded me of.

American Idol:

I LOVE every Wednesday and Thursday because of J Lo's outfits, shoes, makeup, hair...OMG...I love her styling and wish I could own everything she wears. Gorgeous. As far as contestants, I like Pia and Lauren.

Real Housewives:

Real Housewives of Miami was kind of a bomb-out. I have the finale on DVR and didn't get around to watching it last night. I do like Alexia and Marysol. And Marysol's mom, Elsa, Holy crap...she is CRAZY!

I am very happy that the Real Housewives of Orange County is back on. Tamra needs to tone it down with the bathtub scenes though. Real Housewives of New York comes back on April 7. I love the clip where Alex calls Sonja a "thug in a cocktail dress". Can't wait!!!!!!!!

Shatter nail polish:

Went by Nails Now the other day to buy a gift certificate and I saw a bottle of the black OPI with the shatter cap and I snatched it up like it was gold. Granted, it wasn't a "brand" new bottle, but I don't care. I plan to experiment with it this weekend!

Bought it yesterday and jammed to it while I was working out! Loving it so far! Performance on GMA was not so hot but I'll forgive her!
