Making Progress!

So we are almost completely moved in. This past weekend was very busy, but we had a lot of fun celebrating my brother's birthday at Primo's in Uptown and then going out to Urban Crust on Saturday night to celebrate Heather and Jeff's Anniversary!

Still Moving!

It is Monday and I don't think I had a weekend! We moved and moved and moved the entire weekend! It was very difficult, but we're finally starting to see some results with the new place. We still have boxes to unpack, curtains to hang, things to organize, etc., etc....but we are slowly making progress. I am one of those people that is anxious to see results immediately, so it is hard to have to wait! Thank goodness for my wonderful boyfriend, my mom, my dad, and my brother who all helped A LOT!

Lady thinks we are staying in a hotel and is clinging to me each time we leave because she doesn't know where she is. Thankfully, my mom helped take care of her.

I do love to eat out, but all we have done is eat out since we moved for various reasons like the kitchen sink is not working!

I'm in the midst of having a mental breakdown. I will survive this, but I just wish things would work out sooner rather than later.

I will take some pics of the new place once it is presentable. Tonight, I am looking forward to watching The Bachelor: Women Tell All as well as the Olympics.

Moving!

Hello All!
As you may have noticed, I have not posted in a while and that is because we are moving this weekend and all I have been doing is working, moving, and shopping for things for the move! I will provide you with updates after this weekend, but now I am off to go hang out with AT&T U-Verse for 2 hours and then to Costco to buy a KING size bed and then moving everything from the apartment to the new place! We do have movers simply for the purpose of preventing me from breaking my back up and down 3 flights of stairs! Wish me luck!

Kara's Birthday in the ATX!

This past weekend Nicholas and I went to one of our favorite places for my bestie's birthday. Kara is my little sis from Texas Tech Tri Delta and we have stayed close in our post-college days. So we packed up our things and headed Southbound 35. Of course we stopped at West for some yummy kolaches and then drove though the ATX to San Marcos for lunch at Herbert's Taco Hut which is the best Mexican Food EVERRRRR! We went to the book store on the Texas State campus and I got a snazzy looking T-shirt....Eat em up Cats!

We drove back to Austin that afternoon and then met up with Kara for her birthday!!! We went to eat at Trudy's (more yummy Mexican food) and Nick and I split 2 Mexican Martinis (their limit is 2). Then we went out on West 6th Street....not the "Dirty 6th". The Dirty 6th will always be my fave but it was fun to explore a new part of Austin. We went to three bars and had a total blast. A couple other updates: We bought a fridge for the new place we're moving into in 2 weeks! I'm rooting for New Oreleans on Sunday, but I don't have a problem with either team. "Laissez les bons temps rouler."
